FAQs

What type of phones can I record?

We can supply you with a recorder that can record analogue, most digital phones, ISDN, VOIP, as well as 2 way radios and microphones. This is an all in one box solution.

How do I install and set up the recorder?

For our multi channel Recorders, we recommend that you commission us or one of our agents to install and setup up your Technology Ten recorder. This ensures that all cabling and installation is done to our standards and meets Australian approvals. We can then train you and your staff on how to use and get the most out of your recording investment.

Our Soho line of recorders are designed for you to install yourself, no tools needed - in minutes.

When can I record calls?

Technology Ten recorders are all designed to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There is no need to switch off the recorder when you close your doors every evening.

How many phone lines can I record simultaneously?

You can record as many lines as your recorder supports, every line, all the time.

What if I run out of channel capacity and need to record more lines?

No problem. Technology Ten recorders are totally scalable. We can add extra recording capacity as you need it.

How can I save calls?

There is no need to do anything, the recorder will automatically save each call to an internal disk. The recorder will automatically detect when a call commences and ends and save the entire call, including call information such as caller ID. If you want to make a copy or backup of calls, you can do so to DVD or to your local network. Please note that DVD and network archiving are optional features.

How do I listen to calls?

You can listen to calls in real time (as they occur) or any time in the future. You can play calls from the recorder, via the internal speaker/headphones, or remotely through your own computer via your network. Network replay requires the purchase of additional software.
